The role of argon gas filling in insulating glass

(1) After filling with argon gas, it can reduce the pressure difference between inside and outside, maintain the pressure balance, and reduce the glass blowout due to the pressure difference.
(2) After filling with argon, it can effectively improve the K-value of the insulating glass, reduce condensation on the interior side of the glass and improve the comfort level, i.e. the inflated insulating glass is less prone to condensation and frosting, but non-inflation is not a direct cause of fogging.
(3) Due to the properties of argon as an inert gas itself can slow down the heat convection within the insulating glass, but also more substantially improve its sound insulation and noise reduction, i.e. can make the insulating glass heat insulation, sound insulation effect better.
(4) It can increase the strength of large area insulating glass so that its middle does not collapse due to lack of support.
(5) Increase the strength of wind pressure resistance.
(6) Because it is filled with dry inert gas, it can displace the air with water inside the hollow cavity, so that the environment inside the cavity remains drier and the life of the molecular sieve inside the aluminium spacer frame is extended.
(7) When using low-e LOW-E glass or coated glass, as the gas is filled with inert gas, it can protect the film layer to reduce the oxidation rate and extend the service life of the coated glass.
